I divide my professional life between three passions: sculpture, painting and interior design. I am a member of the Polish Association of Plastic Arts. Moreover, I belong to the Hoover Group. I participate in numerous art workshops and exhibitions, while my artwork may be found in private collections, both in Poland and abroad. I started my studies in 1982 at the Fine Arts Academy in Stambul where I had studied for four years, mainly in the Sculpture Department. My first works are related to that period, inspired by the colourful entities from the Middle East, as well as by the exotic landscapes and architecture.

In 1986 I transferred back to Poland, in order to continue my studies in the Sculpture Department at the Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw. Between the years 1987 and 1991 I also attended lectures in the Departments of Painting, Graphic Design and Sculpture, under the auspice of prof. Leon Podsiadło at the National Plastic Arts Academy in Wrocław. It was there where I obtained my diploma in sculpture.

I make my sculptures out of clay, bronze, steel and stone. Moreover, I am the author of ceramic works, made of ceramics and fireclay. One can find numerous portraits among my paintings but I equally enjoy painting landscapes, architecture and nude acts. Recently, the sculptural trait has been noticeable in my paintings. These works contain certain characteristics of stone such as hardness and roughness, even though I still use my paintbrush to create them. These works have formed a cycle, revealing faces and silhouettes skillfully chiseled in a rock bedding. They correlate with my current emotions and passions, showing that even my paintings are connected to sculpture. Apart from sculpture and painting I also enjoy preparing theatre scenography and interior design. I have completed scenography for a tourist series, commissioned by a popular Polish channel – Polsat. Nowadays, I realize my own visions intended for private customers who are interested in unique interior and garden designs.
